Did anybody see John at the Cystic Fibrosis deal this past weekend??? Or know what is going on for that matter, I have been trying to reach him via email, phone, and snail mail for a better part of two weeks.....and nothing. I need a couple lanyards and can't get a hold of nobody!!!! Thanks in advance for the help!!

whats the difference between bolen's and just regular lanyards?

bolens are pretty cool in my mind. i think that he braids them himself and puts as many drops on it as you want.

no this is just my $.02 so dont jump on me, i like Bolen strings a Lot, was one of my first lanyards, love the way they look, the style and love the fact the come with a band on them, BUT, the bolen i have now, once you get a call cinched up, its FREAKIN impossible to get it back off, ive almost broke two of my calls trying to get them off, and i think im on my Third widgion whistle, because they are just so damn tight, now i got an Avery DIY lanyard that i got for free when i bought my finisher, and they changed the Design from last year, it has a nice wide band the the straps are easy to take calls on and off of it, also you can hang the calls where every you want on the lanyard hence the name DIY ( do it youself ), but thats just my thing, im prolly gonna get another DIY for my duck calls, and hang my Bolen off my first Mount, just my opinion you cant beat the versatility of the DIY for 20$s.....

i use the hunters specialties 5 drop laynard it has a really wide braiding for around your neck ,plus with 5 calls , 3 geese and 2 duck and ***elry its really comfortable. even though i have some bolens the other one is the one i use the most! just my .02 cents worth. PS havent tried any other laynards yet! just checked bolens site real close to what i use.

i got the same lanyard as hunters ridge but i think im gonna order me up a custom muddy dawg lanyard...can u say 7 drop :twisted:

that or since heather bolen works at my vets office i may see if i could get a custom one. and yes guys i thought to ask her if they were still made but she wasnt there today when i took the dog over.

lol yeah that might be the only thing that would keep me from gettin a 7 is the weight that and im sure all the calls would be in a mess always. which is my biggest complaint about the hs i go to grab one call and somehow get 2 or sometimes 3 others.

havent had that problem,are ya usein both loops for each call? i always make sure nothins out of place when i put it on :idea:

yup both loops on the calls and i always straighten it out before puttin it on. when yours hang are they all close together or are the top two fairly high up cause the top two are deffinately the same level as the middle 2 and the single middle one.
