Well it was a great day off Chincoteague Island again this year. We had the guide put us out in wide open waer near the Va., Maryland border. Hunted this spot last year and its a better spot for divers and sea ducks. Since we shoot mainly mallards and black ducks we don't have much desire to shoot them anyway. Anyway to the point, we had birds all day. Mainly Buffs and mergansers. A few goldeneyes, scaup, and loons. We had seen alot of birds besides that. We ended shooting 9 Buffs, 1 banded hen goldeneye, 1 red breasted merganser. The rest of the birds just wouldnt come close enough. We could have shot 5-6 limits of buffs but backed off since the rest of those birds were still flying till late in the day. Unfortunatly i forgot to take the camara along, could have had some gret photos. I am going back in 3 weeks and hopefully i can add some canadians and some brant to the pics next time. Here's what we got...............
