Alright, i have been preacticing for about 2 years now really concentrating on correct sounds, notes, pitches etc. I hear guys in comps. do a regurlar feeding chuckle and then a rolling feed call........How is that done. The regular tika-tika i got goin pretty fast but just not fast enough. I was considering calling comps but that is whats holding me back. Any advice would be great...........

Well some guys win contests without a real fast rolling feed sound. BUT, it certainly does help if you can do it. It really is something that you just have to keep practicing to get. My advice would be to make sure your mouth cavity is small. Kind of hard to describe, but your cheeks should be tight. Not puffed out. I would describe it as more of a dooga instead of a ticka sound b/c there is voice or a slight humming vibration from your throat throughout the sound. Take it slower at first and then gradually increase your speed until you are happy with the sound you get. Hope this helps!

Thanks i will give that a try. I really am concentrating on live duck comps more than the regular duck calling competitions. It's alot harder to find stuff on live duck routines and techniques. But thanks alot...........

I don't know if you are aware or not but the winning routine for this years live duck contest is on drakewaterfowl.com. His name is Mitch Hughes and his routine is awesome!
