Different kind of shot than i'm used to, Went to the doctor today had a sinus infection , left ear infection, and a throat infection, about to get down ,so i thought i would go to the doc, long story short the nurse comes in says she is going to give me 2 shots one in each hip, she says one is not to bad ,the other one is going to hurt probaly more than any shot i ever had , so i'm thinking even at worst it couldn't be to bad, Wrong it felt like she ran a knife thru me, so i'm hobbling out of the office , feel like a cripple trying to get away, the thing is still hurting, maybe i'm getting soft in my old age , but if it makes me better it's worth it, But i put a pillow in my laydown blind just in case , Ky weather it was down to 11 a few days ago and 65 today, never know if you need to wear a t-shirt or a coat and bibs till you get up in the morning, Weather is not to good for duck hunting but greatr if you want to catch a cold.

Gary, I had some sort of poison ivy infection that I got from scratching it so much last September, during early teal season actually. It was really bad around my ankle. My ankle was swelled really bad and was way bigger than it was supposed to be. It did not feel good in waders I'll tell ya that much.

Anyways, my dad and I headed to the doctor after we killed a limit of teal and a bonus honker. So the nurse tells me the same thing.....one is going to be okay and the other one will hurt. I took the 1st one like a champ then she gave me the second one. Here's what my face looked like after she gave me the bad one.... And my dad being how he is, he was sitting there laughing his a$$ off. That was def. his entertainment for the day.

OUCH!

I had to get a series of 6 shots in a week for allergy tests. 2 in the cheeks, 2 in the shoulders and 2 in the front of my legs. Everything was good except the legs, I was cripelled for a week.
