I need your HELP identifying some Deeks!

Everyone,

I picked these up at a garage sale today. I have never seen a decoy like these. The guy said they were his grandfather's but didn't have a clue how old they might be. I can't believe they would be too old because they are made of some sort of foam. On the bottom of a few of them it says : Decoys Unlimited riming the top and Clinton Iowa on the bottom. Are these worth anything? Anyone know any details? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

those are 1970s era pre big foot decoys just like spaightlabs said.i have the mallards that are the same age that my uncle bought from art in the late 70s.there in good shape for there age, i hope ya enjoy them.............................................. ....R

My grandpa has some old model herters foam dekes similar to those you have of from Ladehoff. Ive hunted them quite a few times and they dont have the attractive look that modern day plastic decoys due. But the ducks sure do love em those old foam dekes sure ride the water naturally

Are they worth anything? Or are they strictly gunners? I planne don using them all as gunners but if they are worth something I don't know what to do. Got a pretty good deal on em I think. $10 for the lot of 28...

decoys belong in the water doin' what they were meant to do, just like calls and guns belong in the field doin' what they were meant to do.

Call Art and ask him. I doubt if they're worth enough to keep ya from gunnin' over 'em...

if i had them id sure as heck use them...i cant say for sure the value but i would guess that they arent worth a fortune..but u have some dang good dekes for hunting ..if u arent gonna use them i sure as heck will if u dont want them :)
