New Zealand hunter

Hey guys im a duck hunter in New Zealand down here we hunt mallards, Candian geese, paradice ducks and shovlers the hunting is great.:p What is the hunting like in the states? what kind of waterfowl do you guys hunt? photos would be nice to look at cheers

welcome aboard man! Different flyways have different ducks in the states. The MS flyway, where I hunt, has mallards, gadwall, wood ducks, teal, shovelers, ringnecks, pintails, canada geese, snows, specks, and every once in a while a canvasback.

Man that must be so cool to have so many species to hunt:D I went out on some stubble last night and shot my limit YEEHAA. I live in Southland so our limits on opening day are 20 mallards then it drops to 15 for the rest of the season what are your limits over there?

we have lots of divers in the great lakes area were i'm at and lots of canada's, mallards , teal , woodies , blacks inland . limits are 2 on the geese except 4 early season where it varies from year to year , rarely see snows but can kill 10 , never saw a spec ! and are duck limit is 6 combined but less per type of duck ,, if we had the brown trout u have i think i'd never leave the rivers :D:D:D:D:D

We can shoot as many geese as we want we do have teal here but we carnt shoot them. get a 5000 dollar fine. The fishing here is good a four pound trout is a average a six pound trout is a good fish but you can get 30 to 40 pound trout over here if you know where to look :D

almost went out there 2 fish 4 , 15 days before i got married , dont remember if it was north or south island , i just remember i'd land at something church or some town with church in it !!!!

Thats the 1 thats in the Southland the better island of New Zealand hehe i live in Southland six hours drive from there. in Christchurch you can shoot 50 ducks per person yeeha. I heard that you can go to duck clubs and pay for leases to hunt there how much does that cost?
