You should describe the situation a little better. The only thing i could think of is maybe suspending your decoys above the ground far enough from above it looks like the grass isnt really that long and then it would be really easy to hide your blind.

Not if there are geese using the field. Have you scouted it and found birds there? I've hunted knee high corn fields and that has got to be way worse to land in than grass.

well thing is - there's geese in the air -so i'm hoping to get pass shooting there - its really my only opption - scouted and found pheasents but the geese were flying over not landing - its close to a lake but thats froze........

IF...you can get a good section of it mowed down you'll probably knoch the hell out of them. If not you'll have 50/50 shot. We hunt a couple of pastures like that.

yeah i'll try matting it down - anyother problem is that there really isn't any food for them there.......
