UFC 98 Evans vs Machida, Serra vs Hughes

Just wondering who you guys think will win. Matt Hughes is fighting Matt Serra. This is the fight that was supposed to happen a year ago. And Rashad Evans who is the UFC Light Heavyweight Champ is fighting Lyoto Machida. Evans is 18-0-1 and Machida is 14-0. I'm picking Serra and Machida.

I gotta go with Evans and Hughes. For some reason I just dont think Evans gets the credit he deserves. Keep in mind Machida is basically a fill in for an injured Rampage, which I would still pick Evans against.

Machida hasn't lost on a judges scorecard yet, he is flawless. If he loses, it will be unbelievable.

In other news, I can't wait for UFC100...I have some AMAZING tickets :)

I hate Hughes. He is way to cocky. I'm picking Serra all the way. And I have to agree with jsmith on Machida. The guy has hardly been hit in any of his fights. Evans is ok but Machida is the real deal. I want to see Machida and Silva.

I'm not saying that Serra isn't cocky. He pretty much only bashes Hughes. But Hughes bashes everyone. Watch Ultimate Fighter when Hughes was a coach. You will see what I mean.

Dana controls a lot of the things these guys are supposed to say on TV, and in interviews believe it or not. He is pretty far from cocky for being a decorated champ recognized as one of the best in the sport. Any person the best in their sport/field is going to have some kind of arrogance to them.

Machida knocked out Evans at 3:57 in the 2nd round.

It was a decent ppv...suprised how bad evans got knocked out...he was buckeled. Matt Hughs and Matt Serra was probably the worst fight as I expected...boring...but glad to see serra get beat. Also glad to see sherk get beat...can't stand him or serra. Drew McFedries' knock out is worth you tubing and so is Krzysztof Soszynski's. I'm gonna have to try and you tube Phillipe Nover getting knocked out in the first round cause they didn't show it...suprises me...he looked like he had a lot of talent when he won the ultimate fighter show.
