Guysthe wife just bought a new call at scheels in Fargo ND she made a mistake and got the single reed and wanted a double reed can I send it to the shop and they put in another reed or am I **** out of luck. Second question aren't the calls supposed to have a number on them of some kind like what number they where built etc,etc this one doesn't my wife got it for me for an early xmas present. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

only the first 5000 calls were numbered for each call - and i'm pretty sure they can comvert it to a double - just takes another reed and a different wedge

I would send it to the shop or to a local Pro-Staffer and have it converted to a double. It's simple but best done on the exact call being tuned rather than just sending you some reeds. Like was said before only the first 5000 calls are numbered.

Definately get a Prostaffer to Tune it for you, or your local shop, i tried the ole DR conversion, and ended up having to get it tuned anyway, when it comes to Duck reeds im a retard, but the goose calls are easy to tune,

Still waiting on the First DR goose call lol, j-k
