Well I shot my first deer in the morning....a descent 9 point that took a slug right in the head. And don't aske me how or why I shot it there, but that's where the slug ended up hitting. :oops: I'm used to leading things like ducks and geese and the deer was running at about 30 yards and apparently I shot in front of him too much. And my slugs were hitting about a foot high @ 50 yards, so that's why it hit high. Rolled that SOB right in his tracks. :D

Then my buddy Matt, who is back from college for break, found some geese working a field this morning. He got permission and we limited out on honkers.

nice work guys!! congrats on the first deer tyler. thats a good lookin buck good thing u didnt shoot his antlers off now u can get it mounted. ol smoke is out of commission for a few days recoverin from a lil out patient surgery hopefully ill be able to get back out by friday.
