I have a DMM with a double reed. I keep going back and forth between a double/single setup. To me, the double sounds better while I'm blowing it, but my hunting partners are telling me the single reed sounds better. I will say that I can get louder with the single and just as soft which gives me a slightly wider sound range. I guess I just made up my mind.

What do you guys think?

As I've said in earlier posts, I hate having too many options in front of me. Two days ago I was actually changing back and forth while in the blind.

lol guess u could buy another dmm and get it in a double so you can have the best of both worlds that or go with a double reed TR

Use the one you kill the most ducks with, I dont listen to my buddies opinions on the sound of my call unless they want an apple stuck in their mouth while on my barbeque. Listen to what the birds say....

I think I used to be a Professional Killer. Seems like this year I'm a professional slacker. It's actually been a pretty cool deal not HAVING to hunt everyday to get footage and working on video. I've hunted when I want, usually only when it was very good. I've caught up a lot of time with my wife and son and it's really been a nice deal. Sometimes you get a little burned out and just need to take a step back, reorganize then come out swinging next season.
