Went out Saturday for a gamble hunt. We knew there were birds in the area but with the warmer weather they have not held a pattern at all. Managed to scratch a out our 4 man limit with a bonus mallard.

I'm in Kansas. we have a 3 bird Dark goose limit, 2 white fronts, and I think 20 snows. I haven't had a chance to chase them yet so I have not looked.

Just one week away from our .410 hunt. I can hardly wait!

H20 what is your .410 hunt? I shoot .410 all the time for pheasants but have never bought the bismuth or tungston shell to shoot ducks or geese with them. Maybe I am thinking about that in the wrong way.

.410 hunt is just that. We put away the meat sticks and bring out the small bores. It is going to be a new tradition every year. One small bore hunt a year.

I've shot ducks with it, but never took it into the goose field. It should be interesting.
