Quail hunt

I got to go quail hunting yesterday, we have californa quail here. They live some of the braided river beds. Between 2 of us we shot 6:D, the limit is 5 each, so an excellent day out. It is the first time me or my lab have had a decent chance to hunt quail, he now knows what they look and smell like. He loves them, I know this because he ate 1 on the way home:(. The pic has 7 because Tim shot one the day before.
