I was whining several weeks ago for me needing more prozak or zolof to get me through. This may have done it Warm Weather 5 bird daily limits and hammer time.

Our early and late season is a 5 bird limit. In the metro area. The south east zone is 2.

Talk about a great end to a great season. Thanks Hammer! Congrats on the band! It's about time you got one......lol.

Nope first yote stand of the year. The male came tearing in and ran past me. I barked at the bitch as she was running by and she had to stop and take a look :shock: Bang flop.

It all took place with in 10 seconds of me calling.

Holy **** Hammer & Jeff you guys are unreal. That is a bag and a half. Looks like the little ones had a blast too. Let me know if you guys want to plan some hunts together next year. I got aout 10 fields down here that produced well this year. Hey Hammer I'm looking for a DMM Max 4, let me know if, when, where and how much to pick one up!!! Great job again guys!!!

It was great. The first time we had 3 guys who could call. Well me barly being able to call. Tom on the high notes and Jeff from start to finish. It was almost un-fair to those poor birds :lol:

Lets hook up. I have no good early season spots at all. I am going to save the call for you if I dig one up.

The (second) best part of the hunt for me was the dog on many sailing blind retrieves.

Jeff how far was that blind retrieve on the banded bird?

My son helped her on one retrive that was at least 600 yards. He had to go up on a hill to give the hand signals.

I'd have to say the banded one was atleast 200. That is an amazing lab you have. I'm more and more impressed everytime!

That one on the far ball field was sweet! I had a feeling they would find that one, but I thought it would have been tougher to find. In the trees or tall grass. But, that was along ways.

Well, I can't say it is lack of air blowing the call. Ya'll know that I have plenty of air.

Believe me......I've already started to process!!!! I had an eye opener this morning. Not going into details on here. But, the process is beginning!!!

By the way John..... I seen your collared bird today in Woodbury. Had a tow near Bailey and Co Rd 19. Black collar, white letters. Took a pic with my phone, and it didn't show up. Looked like a black dot on the screen.

I'll be done with the habbit soon!!!!!

That bird with the black collar walks through my back yard all summer long. It has its youngins in the pond behind me.

Maybe we will get him next year.

Glad to hear you are quitting. Make sure you work a deal with sweet thing every year you do not smoke = 1200 bucks in decoys or accesories :P

How is the hunting in CO going?

Hunting is getting pretty good were just starting to see the huge numbers of birds and killing them to boot. From what ive heard the kodak farm is getting insane numbers of birds. i heard a story from a guide that they had a 6 man limit in 13 minutes of shooting light on the kodak property. So i guess you could say its going ok.
