Each gun is going to be different. Your best bet is trial and error. Meaning. You'll have to do your own testing. What may work in one 935 may not work in your 935.

Good luck!

If you haven't patterned your gun and favorite load and discovered some problem, why in the name of all that is holy would you waste 50 - 100 bucks just to say you shoot some aftermarket choke?

that gun has a huge bore on it. Try your Mod with your favorite shell and see what ya get. If the pattern blows apart, switch to your IC.

I agree with the above statement and spaight, try your factory chokes first. No need to go spending a pile of money.

forget shells and chokes, you'll have better luck turning it around as using it as a club :D:D:D:D:D

Almost spit on the screen;) I still bet it is heavy and loose and rattles as a club

I agree with the above statemant's also about patterning it first with the factory tubes and see what that looks like before going out and buying anything else right off the bat.

Instead of being dicks and telling this guy to use his NEW GUN as a "club" why dont you guys try to help him. Why is it that everytime someone asks a question that doesnt concern a sbe, everybody here starts bad mouthing what they have.

cause the question gets asked once a week at least, and its always the same answer...PATTERN YOUR GUN AND SEE!!

p.s. it's a joke...thats what smileys usually mean....anyone that would seriously try it shouldn't have a gun in the first place

That gun patterns great with the factory tubes - why not go through a bunch of ammo and see which shells it likes the best before blowing a pile of coin on AM chokes - shells are a lot cheaper.

Ummm, that what I tried to do - I tried to save the dude a fitty or a hundy...if most guys would take half a box of shells and some paper to a field and do a little patterning they'd find out that their factory chokes do just fine. Most guys could stand some work on their shooting, not a new choke - too many guys think they just gotta be shooting an extra extra extra ful choke when in reality they'd be better off welding the IC into their guns.

I have to agree spaight, everyone thinks that you just pop a new aftermarket choke in and your gonna be slaying birds, when in fact you should go shoot 2 or 3 rounds of sporting clays with that aftermarket choke in. Its almost trains you to become a better shooter, if you can handle working through frustration. This is what I did with my PM, found a good load that patterned well and shot, shot, and shot some more

Yeah, the only reason i asked the question was to see what worked best in your guns, because i am 16 and dont have pile of money to spend on am chokes and a bunch of different kind of shells.....

spaightlabs

then don't even consider an aftermarket choke - either your IC or Mod will be fine - I'd start with I/C and throw a couple patterns on paper at 40. Save your $ for dekes, calls, gas to drive to your hunting spot etc.

pattern what ya got then...if it aint broke, don't fix it. if ya can call and place decoys ya dont have to shoot 50+ yards anyway, and your IC and MOD tubes should be money out to 40 yds.

haha my cousins went from a 935 to a SBE 2 the last month of the season and did not shoot a bird!!!! lol i just laugh. Last year i was using my beretta extrema 2 and love that gun. but before that i was using an 835 and never had any problems at all. the funny thing it i would take my 835 and beat it up and shoot just fine. would you cover your SBE in dirt, mud, blood, banged on rocks on accident and scratch it all up?? NOOO

I've done worse, and then cleaned it with a garden hose while it was laying in pieces in the driveway.

and that proves.... i was just statin sometimes its better to have a cheaper gun b/c you really dont have to take care of it like a $1500 gun.

You are right, sometimes you have to take better care of the cheaper gun.!

I hunt with a guy that uses a old 870 that is a POS. He has consistantly shot 100+ per year. He shoots the cheapest shells he can buy he's a great shot. No choke tubes with a modified barrel. As for me I shoot black cloud 3.5 BB with my 26" with modified factory CT but that combo is much better for me with my 28". One point I also want to make I have had bad luck with gas operated guns a browning gold 10 and a franchi. both gumed up and wouldn't shoot after after little use in moist cold weather. I bought a benelli after much debate. The inertia shotguns are what you need. It doesn't matter what choke tube you use if doesn't cycle the second shell. I'm sure there are some of you out there that have experienced this. Now my gun goes boom..boom..boom not boom...f#*¤...

Factory chokes work just fine like the other guys all stated ,after market chokes work fine too but u dont need an after market choke..one benfit of some after market chokes is the fact that they protect your barrel from hard steel shot. But i think alot of guys get an after market choke just cuz they think they are cool..same with a cargo trailer 1000 dollar a dozen decoys etc.as for the guns,im not knocking benelli but they spend the most money on advertising and sponsor the most people of any firearm company so they are more expensive than most. They are a good gun but you are paying for advertising not cuz its a better gun..all products are like that just some more than others..its like buying walmart brand or name brand with same ingredients..the cheaper is just as good..all of the main firearm companies make decent guns some guys just like certain ones better than others just like calls..and some guys just jump on the band wagon and buy what they see guys using on hunting movies

I think that would have to be the shooter, not the gun.
