ok well i wanted a Foiles Migrators hat, so i go to the online store and find one i like, i go to caculate shipping and the shipping cost alone is more than the hat!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why is that??????????
There still maybe a glitch in the online stores shipping costs, I know a call costs around $8.00 to ship.
Remember everything shipped from the shop is Priorty Mail, Insured, with Delivery Conformation.
If you do order online, once the girls get the order you will get an email with the actual shipping cost for your item before you card is charged.
Or you can order right through the shop at 1-866-83-GEESE
Actually I converted the shipping to Realtime about a month ago. It has been pretty accurate. You pay what it costs to ship the item based on weight to your door. I can tell you for a fact UPS is dead on, to the numerous area codes we tried. What method did you chose?
8/10 times UPS is going to be cheaper than USPS.

seei do not agree i ebay tons of stuff, and it seems that usps is alot cheaper than ups. don't get me wrong ups is great but im gonna disagree on this one. and there's probably a reason the shop uses usps; cheaper?
thats just my 2 cents

Not being a dink here. But, I had 4 calls shipped to me from the south east part of the US and it cost just under $2.50. That is heavier than a hat.
i just saw the p.o. has a box deal now , anything u can fit in a certain box upto 70# 4 $14.95 .
shippin is just 1 of those cost that suck no matter what & where we get it from
everytime i order from anywhere i wait till they offer free shippin or order a bunch of stuff . for vexample i wanna get the new FS dvd but in a month or so gander mt. will have it and i can walk there so no shippin cost :D
i've never sent ups , i used fedex alot but after they told me $32 to canada and it was $9 through the usps , i just stick with them now. it sucks but we gotta pay it .

Josh is correct about UPS being dead on for shipping charges...We also offer USPS PRIORITY shipping, we do not use the flat rate boxes....flat rate doesn't seem to make sense with cost versus the weight of most things we ship......If you ordered 1 Hat and you had it shipped within the United States, priority shipping would've been $8.00. Canada charges are going to be higher whether it's USPS Priority or UPS. UPS tends to be cheaper when shipping to Canada. Also, both methods have insurance included in the shipping cost. This is why we choose Priority over just regular mail. However, if you just need guts or reeds, you can give us a call and we will ship it regular mail for $2.00. Otherwise if you choose Priority mail we change the shipping to $6.00. The cost of reeds/guts doesn't really warrant insurance so that's why we can offer that at a lower price.
If you have any questions, give us a call and we can help you out.

I was referring to our new negotiated UPS rates. So like I stated 8/10 times usually UPS will be the cheaper option.
Any other shipping issues, could be due to the fact some items do not have a weight or the proper weight put in(by mistake). So if you have an issue with it call the shop and ask before hand.
Just another FYI...I eliminated an option which drastically reduced the rates of USPS. It was a using a predetermined measurement.

yeah but both ups and usps was more expensive than the hat itself!!!!!!!! which is why i didn't purchase one
Try again, it's now fixed. If you still have a problem, tell me what hat you are purchasing.
