I'm sitting here at home watching FS 5 and in the first hunt Jeff is wearing a vest with the Foiles logo. I'm sure somebody has asked this before but are those available?

I think I know the answer, I believe they said it was for Staffers or maybe even only for Jeff and a select few.

However, if they made one, I'd pre-order one right now...along with my coalition for a zip up hoody

I asked the same ? last year, and I believe Lisa told me it was made by whitewater outdoors then monogrammed by their local place with the logo on it. I ended up buying a Drake vest that is awesome, so if you are looking for one, try out the drake website.

yes....Whitewater vest.....he had a fleece jacket also made with the same logo.....they were the only 2 made..for him just for filming and such...Jeff had some other Whitewater vests made for some of us on the Pro Staff ..for wearing at contests and working shows and what not....they are VERY expensive to have made because of all the embroidery work...

that new log alone cost $100 to have done on the vest.....they weren't made available for sale....hope this helps....

LUCKY!!

I always wondered about doing that, I have a close family friend who does embroidery and I wondered if he did it for free for me if he could get in trouble, if all I was doing was sporting someone's logo and no profit was being made?

the short answer is yes you could, because your reflecting on their company and business when you wear it whether your actually affiliated in any way or not.

Yea I figured that about reflecting the company or whatever, however, I just wondered if it wasn't trademark or copy righted, was there something a company could do about it or would it be worth their hassle? I'm not talking about having anything printed with "Staff" on it or something, just the logo.

most companies have their logo trademarked or registered....what it really comes down to is how bad a company wants to pursue it and where they draw the line.

there's alot more to it than this but you get into legal stuff and grey areas and its way too windy for here...lol

when I was asked to come on with FMI, I asked Sean if I could get a shirt embroidered because I had a show coming up, and he didn't know when Realtree would be sending out the shirts for embroidery to the shop. He had no problem with it, and told me to go ahead since I had shows coming up. I would agree though, before going and getting anyone's logo put on anything, I would ask permission.

No Doubt for sure!

I remember when I was growing up and the NO FEAR clothing was big...Some kids mom near us was cranking out her own No Fear Merchandise and decals and making a killing off it. I remember it was all fun and games until she got caught and I want to say the fines and restitution was in the hundreds of thousands....but hey, it was pretty cool for some broke kids like myself, 20 bucks and a trip to the fleamarket and you could get about 200$ worth of No Fear gear and be the talk of the school---until everyone and their brother had it!:D
