i live in a suburb of chicago, today while i was grilling my new york steak for supper, i was callen on my showtime goose call.up comes a community service rent a cop.he wants to know who is blowing a duck call!!! my wife being the honest person she is procedes to RAT ME OUT and says my husband is blowing his goose call!!!the poor dumb six month tranee rent a cop ask me are you doing this? i say ya, and buy the way im an honerable discharged veteran, and a 23 year dept of corrections worker> and i didnt know it was a feloney to blow your fn goose call! i have a CRACK HOUSE catecornerd from me that operatres 24 hours aday>to make a long story short, i showed the jackoff my fn badge from where i work and told him to do what he had to do!!! he left and said he would notify the real police that a crack house was in the neighborhood>>and this is what is wrong with the us today.you cant blow on a goose call, BUT you can sell all the CRACK ya want....i aM SO pissed off THAT I CANT SEE STAIT!!!!!..

my wife would have probably been the one to call the cops! glad to know Im not the only one that finds the perfect opportunity to cluck while cooking on the grill! Sorry to hear about the crack house, hope it gets shut down!

Randy ya just need to move out here. Ya know the view is gonna be good and the worst my neighbor across the street does is lets his pet ducks wander around the neighborhood all the time. It wouldn't be that bad if they were the white ones but they're full out drake mallards and it drives my dog nuts. He'll walk out in the morning and they are in my back yard so he'll wanna chase em down like a cripple...then HE gets scolded for doin his thang.

Also, we have made a pretty sweet 85 yard shot across my lawn, the street, and then my neighbors lawn. We just try not to miss cause more than likely it'll stick a llama or a garbage truck

I had a similar problem in college..a campus cop pulled up to me while i was waitin in car btwn classes..Was blowing on a duck call...wrote me a ticket claiming it was noise pullution..like a car stereo...must have had a thing against hunters... i never did pay the damn thing and never got anything about it so it must have gotten thrown out.. just shows ya how stupid some people are...lol...i will try and dig up the ticket a post a pic of it on here!

kind of the same thing happened to me... One time last fall, a security guard was in his truck parking at a stop sign and I grabbed my calls and started blowing them and then he was behind me, I got settle in and parked then the Security went around the lot and waited for me to get out and asked if I was smoking marijuana....its happened a few times with other vehicles at stop lights when I'm blowing my calls and High School kids or whatever age they are, go crazy thinking I'm smoking it up and then when they hear the honk they go confused and I drive off :D

Moral of the Story here...Don't Trust Barney Fife...They would rather harass the working man, rather than clean up the scum....because its easier and doesn't take any effort.
Man, I would've been so frazzled from this, you are just sitting trying to enjoy a nice meal, relaxing evening at home, and blow on your call a little bit and you have some wannabe cop come or rentacop and harass you. If I were you, I'd just keep on blowing every night until the real cops show up and then give them an earful about their priorities or lack thereof

i used to wear mine at work somtimes. i drove a forklift and sometimes i would blow them while i wasnt doing anything and one day the plant manager seen them around my neck and he thought they were all a bunch of crack pipes. i told him what they were and he laughed about it and left.

I’ve got a neighbor that is nuttier than a squirrel turd to say the least and she’s made a hobby of calling the law on me for practicing…. It’s always the same story from them, “we’ve got to come out and see what’s going on but you obviously aren’t breaking the law in anyway”… I know it might be annoying for some but seriously, Find something worthwhile to whine about… the cops have real problems to deal with…

I can't believe everyone missed the most obvious part the dope rent a cop thought that he was blowing on a duck call. I think he needs to go back to pre-school and learn his animal sounds.

Where I live I should be able to sit on my front porch and blow my calls until the sun comes up. I have to listen to people fighting, fireworks going off, car stereos (I'm thinking about getting new windows so they will quit rattling), burnouts. My thing is during the day I don't care what they do, But at 10 p.m. it should stop. But it never does.
