Just watched fallen skies 6 and come to find out foiles hunted in upstate NY where im located. On day 1 The feild that he hunt is about 15mins from my house! That same day i was about 5 miles from were he was, They actually pushed in first group we shot at....hahahaha... Day 2 they were right outside of canton (my home town) I was going to hunt 4 feilds down from them that day but chose to hunt a diffrent part of town. That farmer that owns that feild, One of his barns burnt last week. Man im bumemd, I didnt get to meet him hell i might of been able to him with them:mad:.

Dude - I can't believe he didn't call when he was out there! Jeff can almost never find anyone to hunt with when he's filming so for sure he woulda had you hunt with him.

Their's 3 groups of serious of hunters around me, Basswood (their the only full out guide service) a group in near the river he hunted by and my group.

Well when they're scouting and watching the birds.....title says "Day before season"..........................hence next day would be "opening day" and refer to my first post...............

Yes DAY 1 = fiirst hunt in ny
DAY 2 = Second hunt NY

First day or first hunt he was on the st.lawerence river more or less. Right behind the trees in the back ground id the river, He was 15 mins from my house and between odgsenburg and waddington. Second hunt or day 2 if you look at "white" water tower its says sunny canton. The feild he was in was own by teriele's ask him its on the front barn in big white letters.

hahahaha I never said that hunting was a competition i said that other hunters were and they are. As for the zink and foiles call thing that was a joke, I think that it would be good from the a hunting aspect. Two diffrent sounds shoud put every bird in the deeks.

Somebody is always whining about leasing. If you had the money you know you would do it, **** I would if I had the money. I dont blame them, they're smart, they pick out the best fields in the area and make sure they are the only ones who hunt them.

Im guessing the area you are talking about is going to get raped beyond all belief next year with the way your running your mouth. Do you know how many e scouters are out there, and im guessing the first place they are going to start scouting is right where that big white water tower is that says canton on it. If i was you id start saving your pennies because your going to need to start leasing because your area has just been Foiled.

Actually, some lease them so that they don't get touched at all. I know of a group of guys that lease roosts and loaf ponds, as well as a couple year long X's, so that the birds don't get blown off by every tom, dick, and harry in the county. This creates more birds for everyone in the surrounding area.

While not every guy may be getting their limits every time they are out, I would bet that they shoot more birds throughout the year. Sadly, most would trade a 4 man 1 day limit picture (12 birds total) for 20 birds apiece throughout the year. I can't help their math. :rolleyes:

Exactly what I was thinking. You can't doom an area any more than you just did. Heck, giving out names makes it easy to get assessor data, maps, etc. We'd get the point and believe he hunted there man, just don't ruin your spot by giving out too much info! You just pretty much made it possible for somebody to lease up land with never even being in the state and not having to be till the season!

The comment i made about leasing didnt effect me nor do i care but, Its what has happend to the less fotunate. Also the feild they hunted was like 1 mile out of town and every one know about it, Plus honestly that feild isnt all that great.

You ever watch the Jason Aldean video for Amarillo sky... "prices are goin down, fuel is goin up, its gettin hard to make a dollar out there".... aint that the truth. Dont ever think for a minute that somebody is going to turn down a couple grand for the swap of a couple geese. Youd be surprised how money can cloud the mind. **** if i had land and somebody offered me $3000 a season to hunt it I aint gunna turn it down, thats 10dz more decoys and a lease on a better farm, for a farmer thats an extra $3000 in his pocket that he didnt have to sweat for, its free diesel, free feed, a truck or tractor payment.
