i like the ghg floaters but i havent tried the fa. i dont like the way the ghg heads always fall off it really pissies you off when you through a decoy and the head pops off. my uncle hunts over big foot and there very nice as well

I don't have any of the GHG but I did buy a dozen final approach floaters. The decoys look good but you can't remove and then put the keel back on without breaking the decoys. I will say I only have two decoys left that float and have been very disappointed with them. Buy GHG.

well im not nice to my decoys either , so if ya wanna throw them in the boat from 10 feet away and just cram em in the decoy bag then buy the bigfoots, so far mine still look good done this tons of times

We bought the GHG because we think they are the best looking decoys out there. But they also are the most delicate decoys out as well. I've become increasingly frustrated with the heads too. I bought all new heads this year($3 a piece) and several are broke already. The new life size series come with a different style head and haven't had a problem yet, but the oversized series have been a pain. Paint doesn't hold up very well either unless you have the slotted bags and you can't buy touch up paint from Avery for them.

We bought some Fa floaters and mixed them in with some of our flambeaus that we air brushed and flocked. Windy days and trying to decoy in birds is tough. The FA floaters were rocking and bobbin really bad. The flambeaus were to but not that bad. They really sit up to high on the water. They are working out ok but if buying anymore floaters I will go with big foots. more money but like some one said i like to throw them in the boat and go and not worry about heads coming off or scratching up. I would shop around. Really take a good look at the dekes before you buy. The Big foots look really good and with the primary colors molded in you won't have to do alot of touch up in the off season. We air brushed all of our flambeaus and flocked the heads. It took all summer to do but the flocking will not come off for anything. good luck.
