Replacement Reeds (DUCK)

I ordered Single reed replacements for my TR and SS. The reeds I received are not as wide as the reeds in the call originally. Could someone please help.... TY

how much smaller are they??????? maybe the shipped out the wrong ones by mistake. kelly would know on this one or ya could call the shop and ask one of the guy's

1/16" or 1/32"

Sound is terrible. Might be my tuning skills. Just tried to duplicate the original reeds length and dog ears.

think ya mighta got the wrong reeds ,call the shop and talk to one of the guy's im sure they will fix ya up

Did you look at the reeds to see what way they curled before you put them in? I use the same reeds in all of the calls, never even looked at width. Never had a difference. You cant just match them up though it doesnt work, I wish it did but it doesnt.

Single or double you have to look at the reeds and make sure the natural bend is up at the end or they will never sound right.

Dont know, flip it and see if it's better or worse. if it's no different try a few other reeds. Cut them different lengths but dont dog them until you get the length right. go through everyone of those reeds till you either get one you like or dont. Then check your PM's for further instructions....
