Hardcore Full Body Mallard Deeks

Does anyone know if Hardcore makes a good full body mallard decoy? How does the paint rate? Durability? I'm thinking of either going with Hardcore or Avery. I trust Avery but know they leave a bit to be desired - maybe hardcore pics up that bit - maybe not...

All the birds I have killed over Avery's.... I have no further desire for a better decoy. JMO i guess. In fact I don't think there is a better duck fb decoy out.
As far as if Hardcore makes a good mallard dek...not sure.

Looks like hardcore still makes a full body mallard. Bass Pro carries them. Not sure who else carries them.

I'm not sure on how the paint holds up.

I ran a few dozen of them last year simply because Rogers had a great deal on them… Not impressed, not even for the money. The bases were a pain and paint didn’t hold up at all. I didn’t baby them, just threw them in the trailer along with every other decoy I own. I had a few of the full body geese and they weren’t bad but wouldn’t recommend the full body ducks.. Guess this is another case of “you get what you pay for”… Just my .02

I use all Avery decoys, they are great. I cant wait to get my hands on the new pro grade duck decoys. They look amazing

the paint is better on the newer model hardcores that rogers carries..bass pro has some of the newer hardcores but i know they had a ton of the older model hardcores they were still selling also..if u get some from BP make sure they are the newer model,the 2007 and before had bad paint issues

If your going the spend the money go with the avery's I feel there alot better decoy then hardcores.. I run both avery's and hardcore fullbody mallards. The avery's are oversized, better paint and the motion system is alot better.

ya might want to try the Big Foot full body ducks, they are tough as nails and the paint doesnt have a problem.they have tripod bases and move in the wind. they are adjustable with rubber bands to control the movement.......................................... ................R

i just picked up 5 from a guy and he hunted them in his goose spread the last 2 seasons without a bag and at least 2-3 days a week !!! 1 has a paint chip the size of a penny and the rest look like there new other then being dirty !! i guess the new 1's have a good warranty against flakin and such !!! i liked they way they look and am really considering the geese as well !!!

I believe that primos now owns hardcore sone any dealer that is setup with Primos in you area should be able to get them for you, i have used them before and bought the GHG just like the way they move better

rogers is advertising 2008 models... thats what they sold last year to my knowlege. my buddy bought some and im not to impressed. paint was coming off in 3 hunts...

I was told hardcore had a new paint warranty on there decoys in 2008 so your buddy should look into that then,they should take care of his bad decoys i think. The paint falls off averys also i cant say how many averies i have pitched in the garbage do to breaking and bad paint. Thats why the last couple years i paint my own foamers then i dont have to worry about all these crappy paint jobs and i will actually have a decoy that rides the water like and actual duck.

you can get avery replacement heads for 3 bucks a piece, i just ordered 3 and the shipping was over 11 bucks i wasnt to happy. i think thats better that buying new ones though.

i heard that they had a 5 year paint warrenty on them...
