Anyone have any good recomendations for teal loads? I was thinking about going with Winchester xpert 2 3/4" #6. Any opinions would be appreciated.

i wouldnt go bigger than 4's or smaller than 6's in 2-3/4" or 3" shell.

I have even used 1 1/8 oz 7's and had really good luck with em. There's not a whole lot of duck there. It doesn't take a whole lot to whack em durig the early season. The 6's you mentioned work real well too from what I've seen. I just get some cheap light loads and we have a ball with it.

Kent faststeel makes a 1 1/8 load in #6 shot, use them last year with a kicks imp. Cyl. Choke and it was pretty sweet combo. Several multiple bird shots with the wider pattarn and high shot count.

Yeah I agree on the dense shot and wide patterns. There was a couple mornings last yr. I dropped a deuce on discharge. Teal season rocks; if you get them to decoy; alot of times they go straight up on shot. Then it's over.

7 shot. They are quick little bastards. Cheap 7 shot makes them fall like teenagers at a kegger...

I wish I had a pic of 2 teal that I shot last year. The first one came within a couple yards of me and I blew its head off. and we needed one more for a limit and one buzzed the decoys when we were picking them up and I took its head off as well. And that was with 2 3/4" 2's and cylinder choke.:D:D
