Why doesn't Foiles offer spit grooves in the duck calls like BGB calls? I would buy more calls if that was the case. I love my Showtime and SMH but all of the duck calls seem to stick BAD. This is the only bad thing I could say about his calls.
Have a dremel or file? Give it a shot if you are having issues. I blow the call for the sound first and they work for me.

Sticking is due mostly by moisture in the call.....less spitting means less sticking. There are ways around your call sticking. I hate hearing people say its the calls fault. If you think about it, you use pressurized are to make the sounds of ducks into a call. 9 out of 10 ppl, spit during this process somehow. If you will take the time to learn to blow hot air, this won't happen. Also drinking cokes, eating, dipping, etc... will alow the call to stick too.

Then how come some of the other calls I have never stick. It can be designed into the call, it already is on some. You would think others would follow.

Heres a quick fix for you...like feetdown said...Less spit. But also make sure when you hold the call to your mouth the tone board is facing down...this insures moisture will not build up on the tone board. Also whenever your done calling for the day or whatever, swipe a dollar bill threw the reeds. The material will obsorb most of the moisture and keep your call running smooth. Hope this helps. Any questions feel free to PM me.

This is a great tip... I primarily have been blowing all my duck calls now with the toneboard "up" (or facing down) in my calls, and have had a dramactic change in locking up calls due to spit. And I spit about as much as humanly possible..

Sounds like you havent cleaned it...take the reeds out and wash them off real good, dry them off and put them back in there how they were. Then make sure to clean your call with a dollar after each use. When spit gets in between the reeds and you let it dry then it makes them sticky. Just swipe a dollar bill threw the reeds and tone board after every use. This will keep your call running smooth right when you pick it up.

Hmmm. get some new reeds maybe. It can be alot of different things. Go to the next waterfowl show and find a Pro-staffer. Theyll be glad to help you out man. I wouldnt be able to know exactly unless I seen the call...Hope you get it figured out before season!

Aint sweating it, been that way since I got it. Who knows, I might have gotten the one that came down the line where in the turning something happened that makes it stick.
Than again maybe it is the "purple haze" color of the call of course;)
