Very nice round steel loaded toward Primer end of the shell and then the tungsten alloy loaded toward the crimp, split exactly 50/50 inside shell not mixed.
The tungsten varies in size quite a bit with some still molded together. Hope this helps, sorry won't have 3 1/2" finding different personal results using 3". Take it easy

It would be interesting to know how many pellets were in the 3 1/2? Especially after looking back at Todd's experience with the 3 1/2 at 40 yards. He said 80 pellets inside a 30" circle. Granted, he was shooting BB's compared to your 2's, and 3 1'2's compared to your 3. But I still figure there should be around 115 pellets in the larger load.



well i went today and shot some of the new hevi metal...I shoot a Nova with the extended range PM....at 30 yards I put nearly all pellets in the 30 inch circle(only 20 were outside of it)...at 40 it dropped off a little with only putting 80 pellets in the circle....It was a pretty consistent shot pattern so I think ill give it a try...I was shooting 3.5 BB at 1500fps...Im gonna try it with #2 and BB in 1400fps and I think itll come out much better...sorry I forgot to take pictures..it was hot as heck out here today

My thoughts as well, I have not patterned yet, I just got it this weekend. I always cut the shell first. I wanted to post these with all the talk, I will keep you posted. I'm going to shoot using my IC then when I get my WW I'll post with that.

i know if i remember ricky i was getting 150+ pellets in a 24" circle {drawn after shooting in a hevi-shot #4 3" at 40 yards , that was with the wad wizard !!! i've yet 2 get the hevi-metal but i'm sure it will compariable !!

Thanks for the info Ricky. What's a box of 3 inch Hevi-Metal run? And 3 1/2 inch? Let us know how they pattern. I'd be interested to know how they'd pattern through a PM.....if anyone does so, post up some results.

Thats awesome! When you shot your 3.5 how much difference did you see..i think it was 172 or 174 of #2 in a 30" circle , but with the wad wizard supreme !! i noticed the 3 1/2's weren't as dense !! they were around 1450-1500 fps , mayb a little 2 fast 4 the wizard
