call combos

Anyone split up their calls and mix the barrels and inserts? ... I tried this the other day and I think I discovered my new favorite call ... my diamondwood BGB fatboy barrel with my acrylic CCC insert ... Honestly it is the best call I have ever used. Any suggestions for other great combos? ... while im at it ... does anyone know if and how much it would cost to order another acrylic insert for my ccc, so I can use one of them in my bgb without feeling like im ruining my #0055 CCC?

i was just messin around with calls but i liked my flame hedge showtime insert with a cackler barrel and also flame hedge showtime barrel with acylic short comp insert.

Not meaning to hijack this thread, but I was wondering if you noticed the wooden showtime barrels having a "sharp" edge/lip, like the acrylics do. I was looking into one of them for my next possible call. Thanks.

I have the walnut and flammed hedge showtimes. I havent noticed any sharp edges,they are nice and smooth. I would get one while they have them in stock

My favorite combo is the SMH barrel and the Showtime insert. Very easy to blow and sounds sweet. Try it out!!

the price would be half of a regular ccc in acrylic
