Anybody use canoe's for duck hunting? I was thinking on getting a Momarch layout boat but I think the I could use a canoe abir more in the off season. I'm wondering about how to camo up a canoe similiar to how Jeff did up the layout boat in Fallen Skies 3. Anybody got some pics of their canoe I could look at and get some ideas from for next season?.

I use a scanoe, its a conoe with a flat back for the trolling motor. works good for 2 people, and its small enough you can rig up some chicken wire camo netting and still are pretty low profile can sneak pretty well. I would much rather have a momarsh since i do most of my lake or river hunting myself. Hold just as much and are easier to blind up.

We screwed some bungee cords all the way around the gunnels of my canoe and this makes it easy to stubble it up once you get to your spot.

Take a good hard look at Sportspal Canoes....especially the 12 and 14 foot models. One piece aluminum...not welded...ultra light weight and damn near impossible to tip!!!! Easy to camo up...if you get one, let me know and I will shoot you some details through PM.

I have had one for two years now and it's definitely one of the best investments I have made!!! Although, this time next year...there will either be a Momarsh FatboyDP or a rotomolded Marsh Rat hanging in the garage. Just need something a little more low profile for a couple of the local small swamps and creeks.

if you want a serious canoe get a madriver malecite in kevlar. there truly the most versitile canoe ever, the older models have 3 seats so you can paddle solo aswel as tandem. there relitivly light (51pounds). there pretty stayble espically if paddling solo. they paddle about as nice as anything. and you can pack a lot of stuff in them.

you can pick them up used for 300-500.
