I do alot of reading on this site about Jeffs calls, and it seem to me that more and more guys are liking the Foiles line of calls (especially the dead meat and timber rattler) in a double reed over a single, I've always liked double reeds, I think that doubles might be on the uprise again, I even think in the meat calling contests that more people are blowing them, I know it's all in what a guy likes, what does everyone else think about this. I will have to admit I like the Foiles calls in doubles over singles also, I think they are more ducky and easier to blow,(that's just me) but there are other brands that I like there singles over doubles.

i think it just depends on how you blow a duck call. but foiles is deffinatly the best ive ever blown. i love them and will use them for life!

ive got both a BGB single reed and a TR/double reed. i love my TR/DR and will be getting a SMM/double or a DMM/ double to replace my BGB,gonna put that one up now that mike has past away. all the foiles double reeds are very ducky and raspy.

I have to agree doubles over singles. I'm not the best duck caller so maybe that's why I can't drive the singles very well. The TR and DMM are so ducky it's sick in double reed. I'm thinking about switching my SMM to double reed as well.

i drive my single really good, but dont use it that much because of the area that we hunt. no real big open water even though there is alot, we all hunt the river systems so theres really no need for a single
