thats the link strait to the sx3. Rummor has it this gun is supposed to be the "cat's ass"
King- Kelly is supposed to let me know what he thinks when he gets back from the SHOT show in vegas. as far as i know changes are just the gas venting system and looks of the gun. Are you goin by what the sx2 cost now compared to the price of the sx3 or how are you figurin the difference.

Their shotgun line was bought out by browning, who now manufactures the autoloaders for sure unsure on the 1300. I don't think this closing will effect the shotgun line at all. Kelly might know more.

I'm on the phone with them right now and they are sending me a letter about it. I was told however that shotguns WILL NOT be affected by this.
From Winchester:
For all of you Winchester enthusiasts out there who have heard the news
about the Winchester New Haven plant closure and are concerned...don't
be.
Yes, the New Haven, Connecticut facility, makers of the Model 94, Model
70 and 1300 Pump Shotgun, is closing after 140 years of gun making. With
the closure will go the three models mentioned above, two of which are
icons in American firearms history. The 94 and Model 70 hold special
places in the hearts of millions of gun owners here at home and around
the world. Does all this mean the Winchester brand of rifles and
shotguns is going away? Hardly. Winchester will continue to produce the
Super X2, the new Super X3, the new Super X Rifle as well as its Select
over and under shotgun. In addition, you will continue to see the cool
Classic Tradition guns such as the 1885, 1886 and 1895 as well as a host
of new products in the future.
Some of you are concerned about service. Don't be. Winchester will
continue to offer the greatest service in the industry, not only on
current products, but on the discontinued models as well. All-in-all,
Winchester is alive and well.
Thanks for your comments and good hunting!

Hey kelly do u know if the sx2 will still be available in a 3.5 gun or will that only be found in the sx3? i checked on the site and was lookin at the sx2s and it only lists as a 3 inch gun. Im sure there are plenty of sx2s that are 3.5s out there still but just curious.

Theres several models of 3 1/2" sx2's listed on their site. Doesnt look like anything has changed from last year.
