The best thing to do is send it to the shop and have them do it, or find a Pro-Staffer in your area or go to a show that we are at. Here is a breif over view, unlike a short reed the reed of a flute call needs to have the natural bend of the reed go up. Set the reed on the tone board so the tip just drops into the trough, set the wedge on top of the reed slide it into the call, then its just a matter adjusting the length of reed to the way you like the call to blow. The longer the reed the harder the call will blow and deeper it will be, the shorter the reed the easier the call will blow and the higher pitch it will be. Hope this helps, Johnny McDonnell
