What are the differences in wood on the foiles calls? Im looking for a more mellow call, right now i have all acrylic calls and want to find a more mellow wooden call. LMK what you guys think- If anyone i looking to sell one as well PM me... Thanks guys and good luck this season.

My opinion the Hedge makes a mellow sounding call.

I love working between my acrylic Showtime and my Flamed Hedge HPH. Showtime for when they are off into the distance and Flamed Hedge HPH when they are getting closer. It is a killer combo!!!!!

Same combo here, only my HPH is walnut. I've always been a coco fan, but walnut in this call seems to be a great fit for me. Footnote to Randy Fox. ;)

Flamed hedge has a nice mellow goosey sound. Cocabola would be my second choice, too me it is not quite as deep sounding. Walnut I have not blown so I cant comment on that one. BUBBA DUCK

I'd say I have to jump on the walnut craze, it is by far the best sounding to my ear....very good!!! But the flamed hedge is in 2nd place....
