Did they sell out to Avery????? I just got the new sale add with the advertisment for the STL waterfowl Classic and it is full of Avery B.S. It doesnt say one thing about Foiles or any Foiles Prostaff being there. Every page has the Avery logo plastered all over it........ This is so F'ed up.:mad:

Must be your local one, the Michigan one had the Foiles logo in a few spots on the flyer including a spot that said 25% off all waterfowl calls and there was a big FMI logo in the middle

Then you look at the sales on avery stuff and it is not that great...$5 here and $10 there. It all comes down to how much they paid to get in the sale ad again this year. I guess that is the only way they can sell gear and decoys....:cool:

well may be just this one but you would think with it being so close to the Foiles HQ that they wouldnt try and stick it in his ass. But what do I know I quess money talks......

yea I looked at the flyer and definitely no mention of Foiles or any other companies to speak of (other than 1 small blurb about Zink and a picture of Jim Ronquest of RNT).

I'm guessing money did talk unfortunately, I'd have to imagine the coin they rake in on some of these avery sales is ridiculous in comparison in what they sell in calls in a weekend. I know I talked to a guy at Dundee and he was saying they sold 150 boxes of fullbodies alone of ghg....its a shame, but thats the green eyed monster of society I suppose now a days.

Although it does suck for foiles fans, everyone on here would do the same thing if someone paid you all that money to carry their gear and be all over the add....just basic business

I spoke with the events coordinator at hazelwood cabelas and she said that she advertised foiles more in the store since we were left out of the ad. It still should have been in there in my opinion. The seminar stuff isn't correct in that ad either, the correct times are listed on the website under the hazelwood store.

I spoke with Kelli as well and she will try and do whatever we need. We will out do zink and rnt this weekend anyways

So that's how ghg sells so many dekes? I just though it was cause they look great and are somewhat affordable. I doubt they "sold out" to them though as their waterfowl catatlog has a lot of fa dekes in it and gear as well...plus two pages of Foiles calls.

This is bs, I gae cabelas a $10,000 credit for all the waterfowl shows in Sept. The deal is ads in the stores banners, tables up front fr the staff, ads in the flyers, more merchandise in the stores. Ben on thephoneback and forth all day.

I was at the Rogers store up here in Minnesota today....Fred Zink will be in the house this weekend up here...I worked a show at the Owatonna Cabelas about a month ago and it was all about Avery....It's a joke if you ask me... Cabelas is a crap store anyways!!!

Cabelas has really went downhill in my opinion. I dont like to talk bad about companies but i bought some decoys that were on sale a while back on the online bargain cave i ordered 2 dozen ducks. They sent me the decoys but only half as many as i ordered.I called them and they said it was a typo on there part and that wasnt the right price that i ordered them for. Went round and round they told me i could get my money back that was it. Ordered a dozen bigfoots couple weeks before early goose started from cabelas and i still havent gotten them yet.

Cabela's is a great store and a great retailer of FMI products. I worked many shows and have been shown nothing but complete respect from all of the people I have dealt with. If there is an issue that needs addressed it will be handled by professionals who are privy to the information of the agreement. This is not an issue that needs discussed here on a public forum. I have complete faith that Jeff, Lisa, and Drew will find a resolution to any issues with any of our fine retailers. I find no reason for any negative response to Cabela's. They have always served me right and I find them very easy to work with as a customer and a vendor representative. If you find issue with them I am sorry for your unfortunate findings.

+2 I am happy with the Cabela's by me. Customer service is always good. Better store than the other retailers that I have out here.

i personally like cabelas better than bass pro, but some of the smaller shops like rogers are usually just as good. my biggest complaint with cabelas is it always seems hard to find someone and their employees knowledge is limited at best. but most of my research of product is done on here or online anyways.

I agree. We have a Bass Pro locally and they are horrible. 90% of the staff are high school girls, so they're product knowledge is limited at best. Not saying there are'nt girls out there who know thier crap, just these dont. Plus thier selection is very small, prices are high (except guns) and they dont cary a lot for waterfowl.

I have had great service with Cableas all these years until recently when i needed instructions for a blind that i had picked up used. They said they would only give them to the original purchaser and that they needed thier name and which location it was purchased at. Other than that i was SOL. Now, once i posted that fact up on here i was taken care of by some employee's who choose to remain nameless (thanks a ton!). So the service did come through, just had to back door them to get it & i dont think i should have had to do that.

Just my .02
