NEW.. Need tips....

Hey guys, I'm new here and still learning the ropes with this forum. I joined the forum because it's an awesome site and I was hoping to hunt down a used strait meat honker because money was an issue for me. And now that I have it and man it's a sweet sounding call. Heck It's a musical instrument. What I wanted to ask is if I wanted to get an audio and a video to learn more from my first ever strait meat honker, What audio and video would I get?.........

Hoping to make the geese sing along with this call before they die.

i am new to and what some guys told me was to pick up the jeff foiles 2.0 instructional dvd. to tell you the truth i dont know yet because i dont have it but the guys swear by it so thats what im gonna use.

I know it isnt made by Foiles, but Craig McDonald's new instructional CD is very very good. The most helpful one i've heard by far its got everything you need.

2.0 is the best instructional dvd on the market bar none. Just make sure you have the pause button ready for each call type segmant, and blow that bad boy just like Jeff shows you!

My passion for hunting is becoming an obsession and what's worse, my ten year anniversary is coming up...... Maybe I'll just give her a goose band... Just kidding ... Buy them all, no BS, they are all awesome videos and they all rock, all the instructional videos are awesome and the CDs rock for practicing in the car, but that Bad Grammer CD is definately one to pick up, and dont be afraid to ask any of us on here for help....

Oh for sure I'm going to get some of these videos. I have afew hunting videos. The best part of watching these is when they're calling them in. Killing 'em is just a bonus. But that's just me. 2.0 and some more... thanx guys....... Glad to be a part of this forum...

Best CDs for learning a short Reed....Foiles Strait Meat Sounds Vol. I and Strait Meat Honker Sounds Vol. II, Scott Threinen's Bad Grammer, and Craig MacDonald's 100% Pure Goose.

Between those....you should be making sweet goose music right quick!!!! Foiles VHS Callin' Geese the Strait Meat Way, the Strait Meat Sounds CD, and the Strait Meat Honker Sounds Vol. II CD are what I used to learn how to blow a short reed....took me a week to get a cluck (1 hr or so a day...), within 6 months or so I talkin' goosinease!!!!

Well I finally got my 2.0 video and I'm blown away by it. Damn I nearly went to the dump to go shoot some crows this morning. haha. Awesome video I must say. I really like the real geese footage when the geese we're in the waterhole. It's money well spent.. thanx again guys... oh yeah I also got the rock on video as well.....
