I wonder if some of you guys are going through withdraw like I am. I am here in Minnesota and of course our season is over and it's like 38 degrees out wich is abnormal. So here I sit watching Fallin' Skies, and there are huge flocks of geese flying over my house! So I log on to get a taste of what's going on with everyone and of course the pics are starting to come in. Just thought I would vent a little, I think I'll be in Kansas in a week or so--hopefully that will cure my want to shoot birds!!!

Mike

PS
Does Jeff still have that SUV he used to pull the war eagle out of the water in the snow storm!!!! If so how much? That thing is sweet!

Dude, go shoot some crows and/or rabbits. Both really fun, especially when there is nothing else to hunt. In about a week, I will be doing some serious crow killing. Haha

That's what my buddy said. Maybe when I roll through Des Moines in a week or so the "IKC" can jump in and hitch a ride to Kansas!

im with you thunder! it sucks! me and a buddy went to "the all canada show" today in murderapolis which should have been called "the all ontario show if you wanna walleye fish, or bear and moose hunt show" it sucked we found two guides out of hunderds of booths the one wanted a sh** ton of money just to kill snows! and the other one said sometime they shoot ducks. but anyway we drove down to lake calhoun and there is still tons of urbans hangin around. very depressing. does anyone know if Sodak's spring snow goose is a lottary too?

I try and stay away from the all canada show for that same reason...I hope the Sportsmans show next week is better.

couldnt agree with you more. a few weeks ago there were some crows in my backyard and i got the old Daisy BB gun out and started rippen on em, and before i new it there were probably 50-100 crows wanting me to pump em full of pellets. it was so loud and fun. :D :D :D :D

You are all right. Crow hunting durning the off season is the best. For some odd reason them critters are hard to hit for me. Love shooting them though. 3 1/2 really does a lot to a crow. Get out the mojo and do some crackin'. Dont eat them just eventaully use them as decoys. Much more useful that way!

Here in MD the season is still open. But the birds are not here . Went saturday and it was 76 degrees ,and a bright blue sky. I should have been fishin... We did get our birds after a work boat run through them to set a perch net. I think next week we are going to book Rabbit hunting partys.

P.S B.H.L not to be a smart a-- . but how does crow taste. We have alot starting to use our farm. I need some recipes.
