I got my layout boat picked out and will be ready for next season. What kind of decoys would you guys reccommend. Plastic or cork and why i should use that specific type.

I would go with plastic. They are cheaper that cork and if you don't plan on shooting ducks sitting in your decoys then the cork is unnecessary. Also the plastic decoys have some realistic paint schemes going for the money. I use GHG Life Size Series, I would like to get OverSized but the price jumps when you do that. Avery or Final Approach are some decoys, you can go for G&H or Herters but I prefer GHG.

Richie cork is awesome if you can afford them, and nothing floats like cork. I personally dont believe that detail means alot to most divers. Matching your spread to the size of flocks you are hunting is key. Along with alot of visibilty I prefer larger decoys you dont need nearly as many and they cant be seen over open water alot farther than standards. The most important decoy we have in our spread is a swan. I know you have been trying to call me I have been down on the eastern shore alot lately and will be until the end of this month, call me this week before thursday I will be happy to answer any of your diver questions.
