2 seasons and my gun is rustin which I aint too mad I hunted the hell out of it but im just askin suggestions on a new one im not lookin at somethin to pricey juss like a $500 semi auto any help would be appreciated! :D

Do you need a semi? If not you could get a Benelli Super Nova. Or if you do need a semi you could get a Remingto 11-87 Super Mag so you can blast 3 1/2" rounds. Hope this helps.

stoeger makes a semi auto in that price range they sound like a great gun. Just my 2 cents worth

well I was wonderin how much the novas were I mean if I had to i could get a 600 dollar one im just takin ideas cause i will prolly get it this coming summer

if you want a good gun for $500.00 or less. dont buy an off brand import . a benelli nova or a super nova are great guns for under 500 bucks, if you want a semi auto look for used a browning/winchester or an older benelli. remingtons are ok but they have a gas ring in them that burns up all the time so you need to carry a spare o ring. hope this helps

Anyone seen the zink video runnin traffic...in that video it shows a clip of a guy loading his gun with the normal three shells and then throwing in a fourth...i know its a semi auto i just dont know what year and make it is for sure...if anyone has any info let me know cause i want to buy one of those

could do that with my old benelli and not the one that went swimming!!!!!!it was some of the first super black eagles you could do that to. 1 in the pipe, 2 in the mag and one on the carrier!!!!

I would LOVE to find one but once you have the capability to shoot 4 and still have a plug in you don't get rid of it, who wouldn't like an extra shot.

if you want to spend a lil less i would go with the Remington 870 Super Mag put the Strait Meat sticker on it...thats how i got mine and love it. then have an old 1100 that i shoot trap with so its the same looking down an 870 as it is an 1100 just my thoughts

NOPE they fixed it so it wont do it, aleast it wouldnt on my old SBEI ,havent tried it on the SBEII. cause i shoot a super X2 now.

ALL BENELLI DID WAS ADD ANOTHER NOTCH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOLT, JUST FILL THE BACK NOTCH IN WITH ALITTLE JB WELD, AND SAND IT DOWN SMOOTH AND YOUR ALL SET. MY SBE I IS OLD ENOUGH THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO DO IT BUT I DID THIS TRICK ON MY SBE II AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM.

SORRY NOT THAT COMPUTER SAVVY BUT THIS IS SUPER EASY, JUST TAKE OUT YOUR BOLT,, TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN, NOTICE 2 GROOVES ON IT,, THOSE GROOVES CATCH THAT BLACK FLIPPER THING STICKING UP FROM THE TRIGGER ASSEMBLY, NOTICE THAT WHEN YOU FLIP THAT BLACK THING THE SHELL ADVANCER OR TREY GOES UP,, JUST FILL IN THE BACK GROOVE ON THE BOLT AND IT CANT TRIP THAT BLACK THING . THIS ALLOWS THE SECOND SHELL IN THE TREY TO STAY THERE WHILE YOU PUT ONE IN THE PIPE. WHEN YOU LOAD YOUR GUN PUT 2 IN THE MAG, PULL YOUR ACTION BACK BUT NOT ALL THE WAY, DROP THE THIRD SHELL IN ABOVE THE TREY, THEN SLIDE THE FOURTH SHELL IN THE PIPE. JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO PULL THE ACTION ALL THE WAY BACK CUZ THAT WILL MAKE THE FRONT GROOVE IN THE BOLT TRIP THAT BLACK THING IN THE TRIGGER ASSEMBLY MAKING THE TREY COME UP. MAKE ANY SENSE?

Do you have any Gun Clubs Or Sporting Clay ranges nere you ? If so go to one and try different guns. The ones around me will let you try about any gun on the market. If not talk to some of the members chances are they have already shot what your looking at.

heres the best advise i can give ya . get a name brand within your $$$$ limit. just go to the sporting goods store and handle some.....everyone here has there prefferances on guns, IE: how they fit them, what they like, and what works for them best.......so go handle some ,see how they shoulder and swing for you and what feels best for you!!! and go from there.

Yeah marshmaster that same thing happened to me today shot a drake thought he was dead and after the hen and he was swimmin off for the races I mean I killed him after I shot the cripple shot at him but he got into the weeds and if I didnt kill him he was REALLY messed up

hey man i would look in to a mossberg 935 if you are looking for something that will shoot 3.5 and 3 they are good duck guns, i have one and i love it and it is like 430.00 out the door unless you know some one who works at a sporting goods store then maybe a little less but back to the subject they are great guns for the money now if you want camo then you might be a little over 500.00 but the black ones are just as good thats just my .02

i've been shooting reminging 870 pump for 20 years & i get to hunt 3 days a week. i've hosed the gun out, dropped it in salt water, used it for a paddle & a push poll. still works like new. u can't beat it.

Hey Fm92, did you like the gun you had? If so I know a place in East TN, Predator Gunworks. They put a ceramic coating on the gun inside and out and make it comletely weather proof. My boss had his browning gold 10 done and it looks great and will never rust. It only costs around $250. But in answer to your post I have an 11-87 SM and love it. It has never jammed and cycles lightning fast. Oh about those 935 Mossbergs you'll need to put a limbsaver recoil pad on it if you want to be able to lift your arm up the next day. I shot woodiewacker's before the pad with 2 3/4" steel and it beet the absolute **** of my shoulder. Once he put the pad on it was fine.

Personally if you dont absolutely have to have a semi-automatic....I would go with a Remington 870. I mean i do agree that the Nova or Super Nova is a great gun but i just dont think there is a gun out there that can take the abuse that a Remington 870 can. Just this year i dropped mine completely under water and all i did was take it out make sure the barrell was ok and replaced it with a fresh round or shells and ended up killing 2 more ducks with it. I mean the gun does have a little kick to it but hey who pays attention to the kick when they got the bead on that duck or goose cupped up and committed. Just my two cents hope it helps you out.

havent done that in like 8+ yrs!, cant get 4 in my X2 ,even with smokes trick and yes i keep the plug in at all times. im not a violator its not worth loosing my hunting rights over one shell. this was all in fun.
