Do a lot of you guys use your showtimes in the field? How do you like it. Is it worth getting if Im not going to contest call or should I just go with a smh. Thanks

Both are Straight Meat Calls, both with call in geese, the SMH i think is a better buy its a little tougher, thicker acrylic, also the comp insert on the showtime makes it take just a little more air, other than that id say try them both side by side and see which one suits you the best....

I use a showtime hunting as well as in contests, but i used a smh for 6 years, so either is fine , i like the smaller mouthpiece ,on the showtime and the longer insert , but that's just me ..

:D The ( SHOWTIME ) will be the call, that I use to hunt with the most. The geese hear it in 25 mph winds a 1/2 mile away. The SMH, MH, Cackler, Snow & spec are in the bag if I need them. :)

I would rather have a SMH for hunting most days, but the Showtime is louder and would be better on really windy days or days you're running traffic and the bird's aren't actually using the field you're set up in. YOu could use the extra volume to get your sound out to far away geese. Both good calls though.

You can definitely use the showtime in the field. I've got mine tuned down some so it isn't as loud. I've even killed birds over the water with it this year. Just another awesome call from FMI.
