This whistle was pushed on Jeff by myself, other pro-staff, and other hunters from 3 countries that I know of that told Jeff personally that if he would ever produce an acrylic whistle with some durability and different colors to pick from that made sense on a lanyard, it would be a big hit. With the high price of acrylic and everything that went into the production of this call I'm sure it will rock the whistle world. Jeff did this for all of us and we dont have to ride his butt on this anymore and it's one less question for a pro-staffer also. No more why doesn't Foiles make a acrylic whistle everywhere we go. THANKS JEFF.:D

Does it work on wood ducks? Saw it can produce teal sounds as well, how loud is the drake mallard sound on it?

There are different grades of acrylic that effect price, I have not held this call yet to know, but with the time and workmanship to build that call by the looks I don't think Jeff left much for himself. I think personally that he just wanted to give all the SM FREAKS the coolest whistle on the planet.

My buddy just bought one....#0031....I think....It looks good, and sounds good....actually looks like it belongs on a call lanyard.

How loud is the mallard drake call on it Greg? I currently have a Buck Gardner whistle that can produce the sound of a mallard drake, but i just want it to be louder!

Just ordered one.
Will try and get a video up or something this weekend for sounds.
If nothing else, at least a review for the ones interested.
