View Full Version : Propane or Electric smoker?

I am looking at getting a smoker to make sausage,jerky, ect but i cant decide between an electric or propane smoker. If you have any suggestions please fire them at me.

I work with a few guys that do alot of smoking. They all have a cook shack smoker. All you have to do is plug it in and add the wood pellets to the feeder and it does everything on its own. The cost around 600 i think.

Like the Bradley, but, $600 is a little out of my price range. Thanks though.

I have an electric smoker, like it a lot. Easy to controll the temperature and add wood when you need to. You don't need to relight anything just add wood and keep her going.

Spend it now or I wouldn't waste your time....Controlling temp is the biggest thing and the small little sheet metal ones don't do that..

Get one of these and you can use it for everything!!1
