The colors on the head are back a$$wards from a widgeon though thats what gets me...

the cross breeding probably messed up where the colors and stuff were suppose to go. But it still has kind of the same colors as a wigeons head.

pretty though... definately gadwall wigeon...I could be totally wrong but I think that the size and color of the brown spot on the wing resembles a Drake Gadwall....and the head is definately Drake Widgeon...uhh homosexual ducks?...glad you killed it

im gonna have to go with a regular gaddie with a really strange face coloring. theres nothing else strange about it the patterns right on but the colors off.

gaddies have a crown too ya know, and the crown is pretty much the right hue of brown, might just be like the geese with light colored wings me thinks

Im with mndiver, just a weird gadwall. Otherwise, id say a mix between a gadwall and either a widgeon or a greenwing. But i dunno. :? Its cool as hell though. 8) Thanks for sharing.

I'd say mix between gaddie and widgeon. We got a black and mallard mix hanging out at a local refuge and the only thing that has a resemblence of a mallard is the bright green markings on it's head. Definitely a wall hanger though.

It definately has a lot of gadwall similarities. I will have to look up the Paradice Duck, where is our buddy from NZ I bet he could shine some light on this.
