Most of the action is on local birds,as the migration has yet to materialize.
Quite a bit of killing going on though.:D

When you gonna be back?

pretty good number of ducks around right now, good goose numbers if you're in the right spot...we tend to have an ok number of little ones around when we open around Thanksgiving, majority tend to show up around Dec 15th give or take...

You've got a bit of time before you're shooting birds, practice on terrorists...

'How can you shoot women and children?'
'You just don't lead 'em as much'...

If you've got 25 doz good dekes you can quit adding to your collection - you'll be fine.

Golden triangle is good hunting, maybe not quite as good as the northern front range are or a little further east of the triangle...we'll typically hunt the triangle area a few times a year but spend most of our time, money and effort in the NFR...

You won't find much in the way of great public hunting opportunities, though there are some, so a lot of guys that are serious abou tit tend to join a club or take a private lease..

Not really much need to worry about it 'til ya get out here, is there? I like a guy that's got a plan, but you're a looooooong way from needin' to get your spots dialed in...:D From the time you move here you'll have 3 months 'til you need to worry about early teal, just keep in touch a bit.

If you're just itchin' to keep track of what's going on in CO while you're elsewhere you'll find more activity at
