have a sweet looking pond to hunt but not sure how to hunt it? last couple of nights i have watched about 100 wood ducks and a few mallards pour into it, but not until 10 minutes after shooting hours. found an article online that says when tryng to hunt a roosting spot to kick them up early set up and wait until they come back? does that sound like the right thing to do? what would you do in this case? thanks for the help and good luck to all!

Just dont shoot em as they fly out or they'll never come back. Or leave that roost water alone and figure out where they fly out to.

Thats happened to us on our rice field. We'll kick them out in the morning and just shoot whatever comes back in pairs or small groups. But definitely don't shoot at the whole bunch.
