Well me and some buddies hit the hole on Sunday at 5 to set up with my 9 yr old son who shot his 1st duck, a nice drake widgeon. The birds were all over us setting down in the spread 10 min before shooting light, so we sent the dogs out to push them off. They started coming back in groups from 2 to 10 birds. What a shoot.

nice pic. so is that not the most alsome feeling to be there when your little buddy gets his first bird. hope u are getting it mounted. if not no one can take that memory away, do something with the picture. i've got a boy same age, he got his first goose last year. must be nice to be able to hunt on sundays, give u another day to hunt with kids. Thanks all it is an awesome feeling. The bird is going to get mounted and he is going to put it in his room. He can't wait to get it. webfoot. you don't want to move here, it is to crowded as it is, and the public hunting sucks. It is nice that we can take 7 ducks and 4 geese. Private land is the way to go.
