Im debatin weather to hunt tommorow or not just hopin to get some input on if you guys think it will be a good or a bad day

Well in my opinion any day hunting is good, I'm thinking the weather is saying heavy rain for southern Illinois, so if i went i would put on the Frogg Togg . I have several friends hunting in Missouri close to southern Illinois, they think it is going to be good. I like a light rain but i hate to hunt in a down pour , but i have killed them when it was raining hard so i guess you never know unless you go..But here in ky it was 62 today and we are still shooting wood ducks so i guess anything is possible good luck post up how you do..

i think it should be good. the birds cant fly with ice on there wings, so you should have some movement.

I agree with Gary, I'm going tomorrow and I will probably only swat some woodies, but I'd rather be doin that than sleepin. There's ducks that need killin and I intend on takin care of that.

thee is ice all over the place here in missouri and its still coming down,,i want to go but ill prob be wastin my time tomorrow,plus i hate gettin frozen over nothin.

pshhh at least you can hunt still!!! im stuck in mn where its 0 degrees out with a -10 wind chill and no snow! atleast i got a good stock of hunting movies to keep me busy!!!

Well even though my season runs till the 27th, we have no where near the birds we should for this time of year. I'm not meanin' to bitch, but the wind has been from the south/ southwest for seven out of the last ten days. Went out today in the afternoon with HARDCORE and despite the 50 degree weather had one good toll with two or three other group intrested. Unfortunately.. the guns sounded to no avail. PICK THE DECOYS UP WITH NO BIRDS. At least I was only shooting steel. What a great way to spend the afternoon ditchin' work!

I'm in Jerseyville Illinois and we are right in the eye of this mother f'er. This is gonna blow...we are supposed to get 1 1/2 inches of ice. I love the large elm limb hanging over my powerline to the house. Gonna be a screwed pooch i believe. OH well..prolly go huntin' tomorrow.

I'm going to go tomorrow. There not givin' us any ice though. Just heavy rain for the next couple of days. Being a school teacher, I'm off work on Mon. for MLK Jr. Day, but the early prediction of north winds and 37dg highs are long gone and we're lookin' at partly cloudy and about 60dg. I hope the woodies are still here, cause the only migrators around are the ones hangin' on my lanyard...haha.
