Alright IF I HAD BANDS the day I was sposed to go with my buddy they killed 4 BANDS and that was probally the maddest day of my hunting life!

Well ive been hunting for 2 years because im only 14 and i have 1 band already. Kinda lucky got it on the youth hunt and it was the first wood duck that roled in right in the morning. But getting bands is mostly luck.

I have given away every band I have shot except one. It is on a collage of my sons first duck hunt. Shot 7 bands this year and not one on my lanyard noisy, cold, and shinny.

My farmer buddy notice my hunting partners lanyard and said how come he has so many and you do not not have any. I kind of smiled and said hopefully I can get some on your land. He smiled back like he was really helping me. Well 3 days later I shot 3 bands out of that field and still gave them away :lol:

Maybe the next farmer will want to help me to :wink:

I have one honker band...i shot it of my grandpa's feed lot though haha i was 10 andwas goin out to feed my grandpas turkey's and geeseand i seen it and couldnt resist...my grandpa said it had been livin there for about 5 years now and he was a lil pissed off but oh well...in my hunting parties i've seen around 15 bands drop but for some reason when i pick them up ten feet from my blind and everyone else was shooting outside the kill hole someone had shot that bird but its alright with me someday the band gods will smile down on me :D

Well Al doesn't have the Meatcutter any more(Green) he traded it for a SMM(Smoke). The picture is missing my Tundra Saver and my new SMM(Purple Haze). Tyler is getting a Showtime(Chartreuse) next week so well have to update this picture. Tyler and I are planning on getting in a two man goose this spring, wish us luck.

These calls are addicting, it's not a good thing to get started on. At one point I had more than two lanyards full. I had a foiles:Showtime, SMH, MH, HPH, DMM, TR Zink:moneymaker, LM-1. GK: canuck. RNT: Timbre. Saunders: traffic. RHC: Honkerhammer. Then I decided I needed decoys and sold half of them. It's a true addiction. But I still have the HPH, TR, DMM, moneymaker, littleman, canuck, HonkerHammer.

One of the guys I hunt with new him pretty well. I dont know if anybody has every heard of this but in out area where we hunt there is a waterfowlers hall of fame. Its in mound city and i know he hunted around there for awhile, did he make it in there?

every call i own is foiles , except for the two BGB, those were the first upper end calls i ever bought many many moons ago.

Funny thing is I haven't killed a banded bird since I was 8. i actually haven't killed a duck in that 8 years until this past year. I got 15 but no bands. I have only killed one banded goose out of the hundreds of geese I've shot. I got it the second day that the season came back in here. I lost it this year. That really sucks.
