My buddies and I have been waterfowling for 3 years now and all have different poly calls. We're all getting acrylic calls for next season. Do you thinks its better to all have the same call to have similiar sounds or have maybe a mix of say Timber Rattlers and Strait Meats?

It's normally a good idea to mix it up. Not all ducks or geese sound the same so neither should you and your crew.

No two calls sound the same and no two callers sound the same. Different tuning and different calling styles all produce truly unique sounds.

you definetely want to invest in the greatest calls in the world  but like iowamigrator said no two callers sound the same and no two calls sound the same so you will have different tones, cadences (sp?), pitch, etc. and before a hunt you can assign what person needs to do what sounds
some pretty good advise there, i agree with all ya :D

I'll echo Barry on this one. You might as well have everyone get what they want. Although, I would add a drake whislte to the mix. I think it's one of the most underated calls, and they're inexpensive ($15-$20).
