hi everyone, just wondering if anyone is able to post up a picture of the available "light" cyclinder for the SX3. I heard that with it, lighter target loads are fired and ejected much more effectively. Can't seem to get one in my area. Would like to see it in a picture side by side with the stock one. thanks everybody

i have one and they look to be the same size. the only difference in mine is the light piston has a red ring on the bottom and the heavy load one has a black ring. id get pictures up but i can find my cord for my camera. the light piston works pretty good on light loads. the reason u have to switch them is cause they made the SX3 to kill **** not shoot skeet. lol

Get a sbe .No need for swapping pistons.

I shoot winchester AA's in mine and they function fine for clay shooting with standard factory sx2 piston. Not sure how stiff the sx3 is, but I just get the $8 a box aa's for practice and work perfect.

I have an SX3 in 3 1/2" and am able to shoot 1 1/8 loads no problem. Federal and Winchester loads. Are you wondering about 1 oz loads?

yeah, i'm just posting for a buddy, I do have an SX3 as a backup, haven't tried the real light stuff. its my backup gun, im a SBE2 guy myself. Not sure why he is so concerned with the 1oz, but i thought id try and get some info for him.

send it back, because i have put over 3,000 shells through mine, and the only time it jamed was when it rained and my action froze shut, but so did my dad's beneli nova, it was just froze over, and i shoot everything form light target loads, to 3.5 inch t's at coyotes and geese, and it has never flawed except that one time, i would send it back to winchester/browning and they should stand behind it and fix something or set you up with a new gun!!!
