The insert keeps falling out of my Meatgrinder. It's over a year old, so the warranty has expired. Any advice???

Check the mold seams on the barrel....you may have a slight crack in one of the seams allowing the barrel to expand when you put the insert in.

I checked it out with a magnifying glass and it's not cracked.

Did you check the insert as well???
Usually...one or the other is cracked just enough to not allow a snug fit. If that is not it....without seeing it, I really couldn't tell ya.
I would suggest sending it back to the shop with a note explaining the problem...see what they figure out. Or, last option....buy a new one.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help :(

Go to a plumbing stoe and spend $0.50 on a roll of teflon tape. Put a layer or two around the insert where it fits in the barrel and shove it in. I had my first one do the same thing a long time ago. Still use that call.

That sounds easy enough. Thanks Kelly.
Mark Spence. Thanks for your input as well.

I would at least call them and see what they can do for you. You never know they just might fix it and you won't have plummers tape in your call.

I agree with Kelly. Is it the camo dipped call? If so, I'd be willing to bet that the paint has worn down so its kinda like a small layer of the call is gone, which makes the diameter just slighly smaller. So that is how it is slipping out. IMO of course.
Kelly has a good idea. Probably any sort of thing that will make the insert just a bit wider will make it fit good. I'd go with the tape like he said.
