I'm looking for some reviews or comments regarding the beavertail boat blinds. I have a 20' boat and its kind of difficult to find a removable/folding blind for that size. I'm leaning towards the beavertail, but I want to do some more research. Any bits of information would help- thanks.

Bought the 1800 series just a few months ago for my 18' G3. Quick set-up/take-down, plenty of room, 4 shooting holes, can't beat it in my opinion. All I can say is read the directions or you'll be taking it off and putting it back on alot.
here are some pics...

I have had one on my Express for about 5 years now. No complaints at all. If you dont mind standing the whole time to see out. A few things we have done is grass mats clamped onto the front when we hunt the river. The other thing is we had a canvas place put a large zipper half of a circle for easy access out the back side of the blind. No complaints. It has held up very well.

Thanks for the feedback, looks like it will be a good choice. Appreciate the pics too, gives me some idea of what it will look like inside and out. Good luck this year.

So how do you get in and out of this blind? It looks pretty nice, but wondering how a guy gets out to take a piss, etc ???

hunted a bunch in Coor's boat above. Absolutely no complaints and is nice to stay hidden all the way. Only thing I'd say is watch your fingers when you break her down. Almost lost a thumb from the bracket in the back. Nice size scar to prove it. Freak accident, but could happen to anyone if not careful...that's why it happened to me. Great blind non the less

I hunted out of an older one and you do need to watch fingers. Was climbing in the boat and the blind collapsed on my hand hurt for a few weeks.

Also check out www.popupblind.com (http://www.popupblind.com)
It's a custom fitted blind, requiring over 20 measurements of your boat. A little on the pricey side, but worth it.

I am also looking at the samr blind for my 17' G3. I want to hunt 4 guys in it. Do you have problems hunting guys in the front and back. I measured my boat and to hunt front/back you would almost have to sit on the floor to avoid sticking out of the blind. Any advice
Thanks
