I like duck, deer, rabbit and upland hunting. I try to hunt them all, but lets face it... There just isn't enough hunting days in a week for a person who works 40 hours and maybe some over time.

How do you decide what to hunt?
I try to hunt waterfowl when the weather gets crappy, I try to hunt deer especially during the rut, and rabbit and upland birds whenever I get the chance possible.

Just wondering if any of you have the same issues or have a better method?

i used to do it all , bow hunt during the week{evenins} , waterfowl on the week ends , check traps {in the mornin } and rabbit hunt after everything else is done , then steelhead fish after that until the late spring ....... now i've limited it down 2 just waterfowl and mayb a deer hunt during muzzleloader season , then some rabbits and finish with the fish ......

deer hunt, one of those fills the freezer faster than anything else. i like to scout waterfowl while i deer hunt so they are more productive for me when i get the chance to get out.

My deer season is before ducks, so i dont really have to choose. I may got out for phesants or turkeys. But, for the most part in the winter if i'm not in the duck blind, i'm at work or in bed...............more so the blind than the other two.:p

Archery and waterfowl is the majority of my time. Rabbits once in a while, bear season's only three days, pheasants if the weather's sunny, traps after dark once the pelts are prime.

I duck/goose hunt whenever I can, if I have time I will hunt about anything else in season. The only thing I take time off of waterfowl is for opening weekend of rifle season for deer. Unless my dad isn't gonna deer hunt then its to the duck blind. For rabbits there is plenty of time after duck and goose season is over.

Pretty much all duck and goose for me, deer hunting is somewhat boring to me! Turkey hunting is my next favorite, then small game!

Archery Hunting, then Fowling, then Turkey Hunting...

Usually a bit in the early season for some honkers. That gets me through September. Archery opens in October and I'm in a treestand until I slide an arrow through a bonehead. Once that happens, it's back to fowling with the occasional archery hunt for a doe (meat in the freezer). Fowling carries me through March. Once March rolls around, it's time to start scouting turkeys and getting the feed, mineral, and camera sites going for deer. Maintaining the feed, mineral, and camera sites is ongoing through the following archery season. Turkey hunting starts at the end of April and runs through the end of May. Starting summer, it's bow shooting, treestand hanging, ground blind area prepping time!!! And then the process repeats itself!!!

MAN I LOVE HUNTING......:D

HAHAHA Thats a good one mallardman. Markspence, that seems like a pretty good plan to me. I just don't understand this addiction. Hunting is by far the craziest high you can get, and I think Ted Nugent has showed us that. He basically takes it to a new level with his spirit of the wild, and hunting terrorist with a billards ball in a tube sock at a international airport. But damn is that guy funny.
